1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Keeper mobile application ("the App"), operated by Raijin Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]), with its registered address at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.

By creating an account and using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. The Service

Keeper is a mobile application that allows users ("Parents") to create and store personal memories — including stories, recipes, photos, life lessons, and traditions — and share them with invited family members ("Family Members") in a read-only format.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

If you create a Parent account, you are responsible for all content you add to your collection. If you create a Family Member account, you are accessing content shared with you by a Parent.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Keeper. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Keeper service to you and your invited family members.

We will never use your content for advertising, marketing, AI training, or any purpose other than delivering the service you have signed up for.

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you upload does not violate any laws or the rights of others.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Keeper offers a free tier with limited features and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are available as monthly, annual, or lifetime subscriptions.

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Subscription prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region based on App Store pricing tiers.

Free tier limitations: Limited number of entries, photos, and family members as displayed in the App.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings. Upon cancellation, you retain full read access to all content you have already created, but you will not be able to add new entries until you resubscribe.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy.

6. Family Sharing

When you invite a Family Member, they can view your collection in read-only mode. They cannot edit, delete, or download your content. You are responsible for managing who has access to your collection and can remove Family Members at any time.

Family Members must create their own account and agree to these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the App to distribute spam or malicious software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App

8. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Intellectual Property

The Keeper App, including its design, code, branding, and all associated materials, is owned by Raijin Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

Your content remains yours. We claim no ownership over the memories, stories, recipes, photos, or other content you create.

10. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Keeper available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the App from time to time.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Data Export and Account Deletion

You can export all your data at any time using the export feature in Settings. You can delete your account at any time from within the App. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers within 30 days.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raijin Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee that data loss will never occur. We strongly encourage you to use the data export feature regularly to maintain your own backup.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
